Tuesday 23 June 2026 KS3 Geography Biome and Countries in a Box We have been overwhelmed by the effort, creativity and geographical knowledge shown in this years project. Picking winners was extremely difficult but we finally decided on Amelia McKay and Sophie O'Hara in Year 8, George Murphy in Year 9 and Jasmin Sinclair in Year 10. The Geography Department would like to thank all of our students for all of their entries and we look forward to next years judging. Happy Summer to you all.

Friday 29 May 2026 Streamvale Farm Visit On Thursday, our Year 8 students set off for the annual visit to Streamvale Farm. With glorious weather on our side, we enjoyed a guided tour of this working dairy farm that has diversified to Open Farm status. Students learned about the daily operations of this busy tourism facility and its importance in ensuring “Farm to Fork” sustainability principles in Northern Ireland. We were able to meet many animals and learn about their breeds, characteristics, and roles in local ecosystems. There was plenty of time for play and ice cream, too! Our students were excellent ambassadors for their school, showing interest, participation and geographical knowledge throughout. Their behaviour was exceptional. We look forward to next year's visit already!
