We also pride ourselves in the pastoral care given to students, providing a positive environment in which students thrive. The opportunities we provide allow all students to showcase their talents, whether in the school day or as a result of the wealth of extra-curricular activities on offer. At our core, we regard the education of our students as a partnership between the students, their parents/guardians, the college and the local community.

On Thursday, our Year 8 students enjoyed their annual visit to Streamvale Farm, blessed with glorious weather throughout the day. Students took part in a guided tour of this working dairy farm, learning how it has diversified into a successful open farm and tourism facility. They explored daily farm operations and discovered the importance of “Farm to Fork” sustainability in Northern Ireland.
Meeting a variety of animals and learning about their breeds, characteristics and role in local ecosystems was a real highlight – along with some well-earned playtime and ice-cream! 🍦
Our students were outstanding ambassadors for their school, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and strong geographical knowledge. We’re already looking forward to next year’s visit! 12 Likes
