Curriculum vision
Our Physical Education curriculum fosters lifelong fitness, teamwork, and personal well-being. Through the provision of opportunities in diverse sporting activities, we promote physical skills, mental resilience, and healthy lifestyles, ensuring each student develops confidence, respect, and a love for active living through the setting of appropriate challenges enabling students to reach their potential.
Key stage 3
The Physical Education programme offered in Parkhall Integrated College follows that prescribed in the National Curriculum for key stage 3, thereby affording students the opportunities to extend their personal knowledge, understanding and performance in each of the 5 core areas - athletics, dance, gymnastics, games and swimming. Extra-curricular
The PE department has a rich extra-curricular programme which is published on a termly basis with teams competing in regional and national competitions.The PE department runs trips to various sporting fixtures and places of sporting interest throughout the academic year. The PE department has strong links with a wide range of local sports clubs and sporting organisations
